I use a fisher 1236x2, and have been metal detecting on and off for about 10 years.

A lot of these miner's association badges/checks were quarterly union membership badges. The most common DMA badges are brass and of size 25mm dia and 35 mm dia. They are of the same design as the serrated edge one but only with out the serrated edge.
